'Kei   ' literally translates to 'where is/are'.

'Kei hea   kāinga?' is the Māori translation for 'Where is his home?'

'Where is your home?' is the English translation for 'Kei hea   kāinga?'

'Kei   tōna kāinga' is the Māori equivalent of 'His home is in Christchurch'.
